FULL-TIME PHYSICAL THERAPIST
POSITION DETAILS

Required: Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Preferred: 2+ years experience

Demonstrate knowledge of therapeutic physical therapy modalities and operate equipment correctly and safely.​

TASKS
-
Implement effective and appropriate communication with all staff, patients, and other professionals.
-
Participate in community and work events, outreach, and sponsorships as they occur.
-
Demonstrate a heightened understanding of insurance policies and procedures, including deductibles, copays, and coinsurances, in order to answer fundamental insurance questions.
-
Market and promote your profession as well as Range PT, its practice, and massage services as opportunities arise.
-
Practice timeliness with scheduled work and patient appointment time.
-
Exercise personal and professional growth through engagement, education, outreach, effective communication, etc.
-
Multi-task and problem solve with work-related tasks.
-
Demonstrate self-motivation, initiation, and a strong work ethic.

Other duties include but are not limited to:

​Ensure and uphold cleanliness of clinic and treatment rooms.

Be proactive and assist with duties as needed or observed.

Complete the evolving daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly tasks checklist.

​​Participate in all third-party reimbursement programs as Range PT may from time to time request. You shall complete all requested documents (i.e., applications, questionnaires, or any other document required or requested by a third-party reimbursement program) in a timely manner to enable such participation. As used herein, the term “third-party reimbursement program” shall include, but not be limited to, employer groups, health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations, private health insurance companies, and the Medicare and Medicaid programs.

PATIENT PRACTICES
-
Meet best practices for patients, including communication with their medical team and requesting relevant imaging, surgical, lab, etc. reports or any other provider notes as indicated.
-
​Evaluate, assess, and treat each patient using your highest clinical judgment and skillset to promote healing and enhance movement for the entire health and wellness of the patient.
-
​Incorporate health and wellness, movement and exercise, education, manual, and therapeutic-based interventions and objectives into the patient’s individualized treatment plan.
-
Complete patient documentation notes in a timely manner (no later than the start of the next work week - Monday). Documentation must be comprehensive, accurate, objective, and demonstrate medical necessity.
-
Maintain patient records and adhere to insurance guidelines with progress updates, plan of care, and detailed daily notes. Perform complimentary billing according to performed services. Adhere to evolving insurance rules and regulations. Adapt and progress accordingly.
-
Ensure patient’s safety with implemented precautions, modifications, and/or guarding as necessary.
-
Act to develop patient schedules and/or waitlists to maximize patients’ wellness and treatment needs as well as clinic productivity.

Perform quality massage and skilled techniques within your scope of practice and training, including utilizing approved massage therapy modalities to promote healing and wellness of patients in accordance with applicable law.

Take payments and/or engage in scheduling with patients as needed.
