MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Skye Everett, PT, DPT Doctor of Physical Therapy
Having grown up ski racing in Missoula, Montana, and now practicing as a physical therapist who spends all her free time in the winter chasing powder on skis and a snowboard, I bring both clinical expertise in movement, strength, and injury prevention, and personal experience on the mountain to my approach to ski and snowboard conditioning.
I know what it feels like to experience that intense burning and muscle fatigue on the first day of the season. My goal is to help you prepare your body for the demands of skiing and snowboarding, reduce that first-day burn, and help you return to the mountain feeling strong, confident, and ready for the season. Whether you are returning from an injury or simply looking to prepare your body for the winter, I want to help you feel prepared to take on the slopes.
During this class, we’ll gradually build strength and muscular endurance while adapting exercises to your individual needs. Our small-group setting allows for modifications to help you train safely and effectively. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can build strength, confidence, and endurance in a way that prepares you to feel your best on the mountain.
